Which Coding Languages Are Right For You?
Whatever your level of experience, whether you’re a novice or have been in the field for many years the sheer amount of programming languages that are available can be overwhelming. It’s simple to narrow the choices down by taking the factors that affect you, such as your level of comfort with the language, your current knowledge of programming languages, and your motivations to learn the language.
Coding languages differ from the regular languages you’ve come to know and lovethey don’t have alphabets or vocabularies but instead, specific commands and abbreviations that are written in a specific manner and used to instruct computers on what to do. They are used to create software for everything from smart phones and automobiles.
C++ and C its counterpart, C are two of the most coding languages popular programming languages. In the 1970s, when C was first released by Dennis Ritchie and Bjarne Stroustrup, respectively, these systems-level languages are still widely used today to build rock-solid applications that run on any operating system.
Java is a different coding language. It was invented in 1995 and is used to develop applications for different platforms including desktop applications, mobile devices and web-based apps. It’s also the most widely used server-side programming language and is compatible with databases. Scala functional programming language that was developed in 2004 has become a favorite choice for programmers because it’s designed to prevent bugs which are common when creating complex programs. Google’s Golang is a compiled programming language that was released in 2009. It’s popular because it’s made to allow programming errors to be eliminated, and is also easy to maintain.
